Veterans outraged: Tsarnaev offered burial at Arlington National Cemetery

MAY 8, 2013BY: DEAN CHAMBERS

Many veterans were outraged with today's announcement that Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the older of the two brothers allegedly involved in the Boston Marathon bombing, was offered someone's spot to be buried with America's honored veterans at the Arlington National Cemetery. News blogger Jan Morgan reported today at her janmorganmedia.com site that U.S. Air Force veteran Julie Frein offered her spot at the cemetery for the burial of the older Tsarnaev brother, who was killed in the firefight with law enforcement a few days after the bombing.

Yeah I just read it although his daddy got him set up as an honor guard and got weekends off.

Kennedy enlisted in the United States Army in June 1951 (signing up for an optional four-year term, which was shortened to the minimum two years after his father intervened).[9] Following basic training at Fort Dix, he requested assignment to Fort Holabird for Army Intelligence training, but was dropped after a few weeks without explanation.[9] He went to Camp Gordon for training in the Military Police Corps.[9] In June 1952, Kennedy was assigned to the honor guard at SHAPE headquarters in Paris.[1][9] His father’s political connections ensured he was not deployed to the ongoing Korean War.[1][10] While stationed in Europe he travelled extensively on weekends and climbed the Matterhorn.[11] He was discharged in March 1953 as a private first class.[9][11]

Ted had managed to get himself kicked out of college on a fireworks charge ~ and his father had only recently had his sister Mary lobotomized.

The others in the family ~ his older brothers John and Robert ~ managed to get him safely into the Army before Old Joe found out and had him lobotomized as well.

The only reason I can imagine Joe pulling influence to get Ted out of the Army early would be to lobotomize him. As you recall he lost his oldest son Joe in the war, and his next oldest, John, was severely wounded, but don't get the ide old Joe thought Ted should have it easy. That's not the Joe history knows!

I could barely bring myself to open this article, I SO did not want this to be true.

I feel like someone just spat on our flag.

Maybe Old Joe did have Ted lobotomized. There’s scant evidence that his brain ever worked right.

Wasn't hers to offer even if she could. Speed Bump wasn't a veteran.

If Clinton couldn’t get away with burying someone who shouldn’t have been in Arlington, what made her think she could?

Ted had what seems to have been a lifelong problem with brain tissue and blood vessels. As we recall he underwent surgery for the problem several times in his latter years.

Old Joe might well have beaned him, but Joe doing anything to make life easier for his kids is a laugh!!!! They got the wrong daddy fur shur!

I thought he was kicked out of Harvard for cheating (having another student take a Spanish exam on his behalf).

At least he cheated on a hard subject, not something easy like Ancient Greek or Chinese.

Don’t they have any standards at Arlington? How can you donate the plot to a non veteran?

Pfft...bet her hubby is rolling over. Plus, she can't transfer her space. Thank goodness. She only served two years...in the mid 1970’s for crying out loud. Unlike my dear brother who retired from the USAF 2 years ago after serving 23 years and umpteen tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.

They found that he had no intelligence.

It’s all BS. The person in question does not have ‘a spot’ at Arlington. Nobody has a reserved spot; sites are allocated as needed. The person in question probably doesn’t qualify for burial at Arlington given her service. It’s all a bunch of nothing.

Alcohol and debauchery were also lifelong problems for Ted. Probably not the best cure or therapy for brain disorder.

So how does a woman with two years service get a plot in Arlington to offer to a terrorists?

She doesn't.

There has already been a statement released by cemetery officials that burial rights cannot be transferred. He is not getting buried in Arlington no matter what that dingbat does.

Tempest in a Tea Pot

A veteran who was not eligable to be buried in Arlington, who had no access to Arlington, who did not know of the burial policy and requirements of Arlington ....

... spouted off to get her 15 min of fame by saying she would be willing to “give up” her plot.

This story is an MSM attempt to gen up some hate, division and readership, nothing more. Not even worth a yawn.
