1. HIT IN THE HEAD WITH THE BIBLE - It was the height of the Monica Mess, when Bill Clinton took to going to church in a very media-visible way; he’d even emerge after services to a gaggle of photographers holding a cartoonishly huge Bible, the better to make Bill appear pious.
The family was driven by the secret service in a Limo and had pre-clearance to run all red lights, with accompanying motorcycle officers. In spite of that, the Secret Service limo driver did stop at the first red light:
An enraged Hillary picked up the enormous Bible and hit the limo driver in the back of the head with it, to coax him through the intersection in the timely manner she was then counting on.
2. INTIMIDATED A RAPE VICTIM - As Governor Bill had some oversight of rest homes. Juanita Brodderick was a nurse active in Democratic politics and found herself alone with Bill in a hotel room.
Bill raped Juanita, punched her in the mouth, and while leaving suggested that she put ice on her swollen mouth.
Later Juanita showed up at a political event, attended to her horror by both Bill and Hillary. Hillary swiftly intercepted Juanita, seizing her hand:
“We want to thank you for everything you have done for Bill —AND I DO MEAN EVERYTHING.”
Her eyes locked onto Juanita’s in an icy stare, her meaning clear.
And the “heroic whistleblower” known as Deep Throat was the same guy responsible for botching the case against a domestic terrorist named William Ayers.
“Mistakes were made” seems only to depend on who the target is.
40 years in the future from Watergate is right now. I seriously doubt the author of the piece means 2053.
If you say 40 years hence it means 40 years from NOW. Whatever else you want it to mean is irrelevant and smacks of liberals’ redefinition of language. Part of conservatism is conserving the language so we know what we are talking about.

If you have a problem with his use of the word “hence”, please raise the issue with him, not me.
I tried to explain what I thought he meant, when I should have simply ignored your reply as irrelevant.
