Although the Obama administration has been hit by three scandals in a matter of days – new revelations about Benghazi, the Internal Revenue Service targeting conservative groups, and the Justice Department seizing Associated Press phone records – the White House scoffed at comparing President Barack Obama with President Richard Nixon.
At Tuesday’s White House press briefing a reporter asked, “President Obama has been compared to President Nixon. How does he feel about that?”
White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said he did not have a reaction from the president to relay on that matter, but also dismissed the premise of the question.
“I can tell you, people who make those kinds of comparisons need to check their history,” Carney said. “Because what we have here with one issue, Benghazi, clearly we’re learning more and more is a political sideshow, a deliberate effort to politicize a tragedy. The president feels very strongly about that. You heard him address that yesterday.”

Nixon was squeaky clean in comparison.
Scoff away, Obama. The comparison is appropriate.
After carrying the water, now they smell blood in it.

Nixon, for all his faults, loved America and hated Communism.

No, President Nixon, for all his faults, loved America. He also served in the US Navy during wartime, was an anti-communist crusader, was a model vice president and was a heterosexual Christian. I could go on, but you get the idea.
Obama and Hillary lied when Americans died.
Nixon was an honorable man.
Tricky Dick didn’t hate America.
Nixon was intelligent and loved his country.
He also didn’t deserve to be called Tricky Dick.
Nixon had respect for the office. Zero none.
The ‘lady’ doth protest too much, methinks.
Jay Carney was the tender age of seven years old when the Watergate Hotel burglary occurred. I’m sure it’s just SEARED into his memory.
Nixon didn’t get anyone killed.
At least Nixon loved his country.
