I heard that the drug companies made a “marketing” decision to get more people on statins.

"When the National Cholesterol Education Program lowered the “optimal” cholesterol levels in 2004, eight out of nine people on the panel had financial ties to the pharmaceutical industry." From the book: The Great Cholesterol Myth

‘____________to get more people on statins.’

Seems I’ve heard similar.
Shenanigans abound everywhere - - -

This thread has lots of good info - we all have our favorite supplements and things we’ve tried, in the ‘natural’ world, before ingesting prescription drugs.
In a life and death situation, prescriptions yes, and when the crisis is over, back to ‘natural’ ways...

Recently, I thought if one could take just one supplement, or were to ask me, I would suggest Cod Liver Oil, with Lemon. Daily.
I can crave that stuff, which in itself may be a sign of the body needing/lacking something . . . off for some right now!
