I wondered if everyone in Michelangelo’s family was musclebound and that was his only frame of reference...

Finally had a chance to be in the Sistine Chapel a few years ago. Unfortunately it was Easter week and the place was packed. The constant jostling made enjoying the ceiling impossible.
