I just heard it!!!! Issa just made the statement that she may have waived her right to use the 5th Amendment against self-incrimination by presenting facts in an opening statement. Apparently they’ve been doing some legal work on this and it appears they are of the opinion that she will be compelled to testify now. WOW!!!

Not to burst your bubble, but I just saw a piece by a legal wonk saying she does not have to testify. This is not a trial, but a committee hearing. Does not work the same way.

Don't get me wrong, I'd like to see her dragged back, but I will be surprised to see it. :(

Good deal. A person doesn’t get to make a statement of testimony then refuse to be cross examined on their statements or any other.
