IRS has watchers watching watchers, but how does their correspondence control system work ~ I remember Shulin doing a guest appearance before a USPS group ages back telling us how great it would be ~ and that higher level managers could review AND CHANGE correspondence as it was prepared at the staff level.

So, did they do that? If so the staffers at Cincy may well be unaware of how much cr*p was distributed under their names.

They should lawyer up.

Well, if you can link her to Colleen M. Kelley, you’ve got the chain of command complete from Obama.

Low level government employees do what they are told by their bosses. Anyone with 1/2 of a brain knows that.

Press secretary Jay Carney explained earlier today, “We have adopted as a cardinal rule that these unfortunate incidents were caused by lower-level, rogue underlings. With frikken lasers on their heads.”

If you start to fry the “small fry” in congressional hearings and then in court (lawsuits, perjury charges, etc)., you might find out that a little group of fishes can sing like a mighty flock of Canaries.

Wasn’t this obvious from what happened to True the Vote? They even had OSHA after them. Do low level guys/gals have the power to order other departments and agencies to do this stuff?

I doubt it.

I just told my wife earlier this evening that if Congress really wanted to know what happened, how it happened and by whose authority they would conduct a process audit starting with the lowest level employee involved. My conclusion: they really don’t want to know.

More REAL investigators are needed! Something I posted on another discussion about the IRS investigation

The conservatives and honest liberals are making a concerted effort to get to the facts; HOWEVER, I would suggest that they ask the right questions of the wrong people.

Considering how the anointed one operates I wonder who has oversight of the Czars and their networks? How can there ever be possible checks and balances over the informal nameless community organized styled mirror administration that President Obama seems to meet and consult with more frequently than the Senate confirmed or Presidentially appointed figureheads presently riding desks in Washington?

A Real investigator and or news reporter needs to get the names of these people so that they may be brought in for questioning as to their roles in this corrupt and criminal enterprise.

Six employees working for different first line supervisors but tied out to a common second or third line supe just screams dedicated working group/task group to me ...

300 groups multiplied by at least 18 months for each group, means thousands of red flags would have been generated in the system

That would depend on how the roll up reporting in the system is constructed, wouldn't it?

Looking at the apparent org chart involved it looks like the work was distributed across five staff (excluding the "supervisor" - maybe a working group lead?) each working for a different manager AND "territory manager".

So simple and assumed (extrapolated from the org chart) math (5x5x5) points to five staff out of 125 being part of that organization.

Or, rather, 4% of the staff reporting to Cindy Thomas. Assuming there aren't even more layers of management between the "territory managers" and her.

That's as beautifully a "distributed" workload as I've ever seen. Almost by design (NO! It wouldn't be that!) it would serve to obscure what was really happening in the reporting.
