GRAPEVINE, TX - Family Research Council (FRC) expressed deep disappointment at the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) for changing their long-standing position today on membership regarding open homosexuality within the Scouts.
Family Research Council President Tony Perkins made the following comments:
"Sadly, the Boy Scouts' legacy of producing great leaders has become yet another casualty of moral compromise. Unfortunately, Boy Scout delegates capitulated to strong-arm tactics and abandoned the timeless values that have served the organization well for more than 100 years.
"The delegates succumbed to a concerted and manipulative effort by the national BSA leadership despite the BSA's own survey showing 61 percent of its members in opposition to changing the policy.

There is some truth to what you say, but the potential for trouble is always there with homosexuals, and I think, even more so than heterosexulas who are in the vast majority. The most radical homosexuals for change seem to be the lesbians, who statistically as a pool, are less in number than the male homosexuals by half.
Why don’t you shut up jerk. When you’ve devoted ten-15 hours a week for ten years, have two sons about ready to hit the pinnacle, have founded a troop and gotten 18 new boys involved in an organization and developing excellent skills only to have the national leadership destroy it in one day, then you can talk.
Sorry sir, you are an inconsiderate moron.
With a “president” of the United States that glorifies perferts and almost daily proclaims sodomites as a protected class, anything is possible. This POS will go in history as the worst “president” in American history. He hates all that is good and decent about this country and despises anything to do with Christianity.
I can talk anyway and maybe you can tell those upright sons that all they have stood for and worked for was a sham, that they were really just in it for the badges and awards, all that morally straight talk was just talk.
Or maybe you could tell them that this is a chance to put those teachings into action and resign with honor.
Then again, maybe you need those awards to much to let them do the honorable thing.
I see you learned temporance though.
Crawl back in yours and take your Gay LGBT agenda with you.
Bookmarked for future reference.
I’m going to stop this conversation before I say something that gets me banned.
Maybe someday you’ll grow up and stop the sanctimoneous crap that is spewing from your keyboard.
I understand what you are saying. I wonder, has anyone ever been kicked out of the Boy Scouts for violating the oath as it now stands? This reminds me of the Episcopal Church (ECUSA). How can you continue to participate and worship in a local church whose national leadership is in direct opposition to the Bible and Christianity in its blatant advocacy of Gays/Lesbians leading the ECUSA? Unfortunately, it did permeate down to the local level, and those who protested were locked out of their church and property confiscated. Could a BSA local chapter or former Eagle Scout who is now an adult sue the National board for violating the foundational tenets of the BSA and destroying the organization?
Good questions. I wish I knew the answers.
This happened to the Girl Scouts long ago when they allowed Planned Parenthood access - a new organization was created for girls that held to Christian values (American Heritage Girls). Everything is up for grabs these days. Figuratively and Literally.
