She gets in to just about any event she wants so yeah, I gotta believe it’s part of the show. It’s not like they don’t know what she looks like or what to expect from her.
Just more Kabuki theatre
This dog and pony show has been going on for a long, long time. I frequently tune in to c-span to see what is going on. When Bush as President, code pink was always popping into the hearings on Iraq and Afghanistan. I counted 7 times that they showed up at the hearings. They were always wearing the silly pink outlandish outfits so the guards could have easily picked then out before they got into the hearing rooms. Even without the pink costumes Medea Benjamin was well known, I could pick her out from across the street if I ever ran into her.
Every time code pink showed up, they were distruptive, even when they were silently disruptive but holding up signs. You would be listening to a general or State Department person speak and in the background you would see these code pink clowns holding up signs. No other group is allowed to do this. If any conservative group pulled these kinds of stunts they would be barred from ever entering the hearing room again.
