Yesterday, I heard an NBC News radio report and discussed was the Boy Scouts/gay issue. Immediately following, was a report about sexual assaults in the military and the two members of Congress who spoke during the report were Claire McCaskill and Susan Collins. If you link those, the image was that gays were victims and violent military men needed to be tamed by elected women politicians.
