Awesome. The non-Fox “journalists” should be hanging their heads in shame in front of a real newsman.

Shouldn't be too hard.

This is how the Baltimore Sun writer ended his article. WOW

I have been holding my powder on this, because I didn’t want to relive the misery I experienced in 2009 and 2011 when I dared to criticize the executive branch for not understanding and/or respecting the role the founders of this country tried to guarantee for the press in a democracy.

But I am going to rejoin the battle, because what the White House is doing is truly in a league with Nixon. The difference is that we now have a dumbed-down, wimped-out and suck-up press compared to the one Nixon faced. And what passes for media criticism is, in the main, even more spineless and pathetic.

Too many of the press folks, especially in Washington, are all too happy to kiss up to the White House rather than doing their jobs as Rosen has. Or, maybe they just don’t have his dedication and courage.

If Beyonce and Jay-Z didn’t say anything about this, it didn’t happen.

Oh, yeah, Ailes is trying to sound so tough after caving to the Saudis and to the Soros regime in the past....

I used to be a faithful FOX watcher until they started their drift to the left. It has been downhill ever since they hired that clown Geraldo. I watch almost no FOX now.

Ailes: “We will not allow a climate of press intimidation, unseen since the McCarthy era, to frighten any of us away from the truth.”

He’s onto something when he references McCarthy. Those on the Left are never going to allow a parallel to Nixon to penetrate their closed little minds. They’ll never see Obama as a Nixon no matter how accurate the comparison.

But they view McCarthy as intimidating innocents (whether they were innocent is a separate issue), and they also view reporters, especially AP reporters, as innocents. It is relatively easy to draw parallels between McCarthy and the Obama administration, parallels that stand a chance of shaking up many who’ve voted twice for Obama.

And face it, when it comes to intimidation the Obama administration makes Joe McCarthy look like a lightweight.

The other side is neither fair or balanced. Time to get real Fox. Sometimes you don’t need to have the other side.

"We will not allow a climate of press intimidation, unseen since the McCarthy era, to frighten any of us away from the truth."

Press intimidation? Well, I don't know about that, but I do know that the obnoxious bully Joe McCarthy has been completely vindicated, and his warnings about communist infiltration in the US government, especially the State Department, are now known to have been completely on the mark.

So, i'm not sure why Ailes had to invoke McCarthy.. Unless his statement was more for the benefit of low information voters and the scumbag Democrat "mainstream" newsrooms, who still hate McCarthy for exposing communist infiltration.
