FPN President Joe Glover issued the following response to today’s announcement that the Boy Scouts of America will permit open homosexuality among troop members:

There’s no field of battle. You and I agree on the decision - and yet, you continue to bomb me with all kinds of info (that I did not read) as if we have any disagreement there. We don’t.
I stand by the fact that you and others over reacted in an over the top way that is not productive, unnecessarily vitriolic, and an affront to the majority of the BSA leaders - who are with us on this.
At least some scout masters - who also disagree with the BSA decision - think my take on this issue, what happened, and my take on your reaction - is correct. Period.
The move is a pragmatic compromise that protects the main treasure, no queer adults. It reflects the times. I am not in favor and voted and wrote against it.
The thing I find interesting in this fray is that the actual numbers of queer scouts will be few. There are no 11 year old or even 13 year old queers.
There are very few in fact almost no boys that become scouts after 13. Many troops have few or no scouts older than 15. The scouts older than 15 tend to be in large well managed troops.
I think there will be ostracizing of a queer scout. “Hey queer, get some firewood” and such. Maybe “ I don’t know how that heavy rock ended up in your pack”. In very large cities or populous districts, I can visualize a queer troop where the outcasts gather to be scouts.
For me, a soon to be 50 year BSA veteran, this is an important weekend. My grandson and son are attending their first Tiger Cub overnight thus carrying the BSA tradition into a fourth generation

Regarding: God saving our nation
Of all the parents phoning and writing in protest to the BSA, how many of them will, on Tuesday, send their children into the GODLESS Marxist run schools that **are** pushing the homosexual agenda?
If children do manage to survive the womb, nearly all of the children in this nation attend compulsory GODLESS government owned and run socialist-entitlement schools. They **will** learn to think and reason GODLESSLY. They must just to cooperate in the GODLESS classroom. They risk learning to be comfortable with government compulsion. And...They risk learning worship the government, socialism, unbridled sex, and “mother earth”.
The woman about to be stoned was told by Jesus to “Go. And sin **no more**.”
Once upon a time this was a useful instrument for pointing the direction a boy should go.
Today, not so much - as the needle has fallen off and rendered the tool into a "Fiscally Conservative" directionally errant piece of plastic memorabilia.

It is a weakened BSA because of the agenda that’s been pushed in the schools.
Mothers are being duped and the ones who know ought to get those kids out.
So, in a nutshell, sexual activity of any kind is not compatible with the behavioural criteria for a Scout.
Well, that's all-inclusive, so the homos don't get a pass.
