So, the question I have is, if I didn’t sign a release of my medical records to the US Government or Epic Systems, can I sue them, the hospitals and my doctor, for medical malpractice or invasion of privacy?

This is my question also. Where in hell does it say doctors or hospitals or anyone else I hire for that matter can sell and distribute my private information? Do we first need to retain a lawyer before going to the doctor? Does anyone actually believe the government wants this information or will use this information to better our lives or to promote liberty?

That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.
