The social programming is also keeping recruitment down I imagine. The LGBT agenda as well as women in combat. Additionally, Christians are being outlawed within the military.

Exactly. People here imagine the armed forces as rock ribbed conservatives. Having been around three services and served in one for a total of 37 years I can tell you that the culture in the US Army, at least, especially in CS and CSS organizations is tilting liberal to left and doing so quickly. Many black officers are leftwing black racists and openly speak of the Mahdi as ‘their president’. They are often virulently anti-Israel and anti-white. The many females in uniform generally look on the service as a jobs program with good child care benefits. The number of women in the Army with out of wedlock births is quite remarkable. These women are literally married to the government welfare tit. The norming of queer sex and attacks on soldiers and officers who are openly Christian indicates where this trend is heading. The dumbing down of history teaching in the public schools has produced a host of soldiers who have no idea of the traditions and history of the Army . I have had a field grade officer (O-4) who had served on the Peninsula ask me in all candor why the US Army was deployed to Korea. In a few years the Army, at least, will have a heavy presence of left liberals who have a big chip on their shoulders about ‘white male Amerika’. With people like the current CJCS the armed forces will be led by and staffed with people who will have no problems with firing on US citizens, which is why many of these changes are being made to the military culture. Of that i am quite sure.
