John Mitchell served time in prison, so Holder would not be the first Attorney General to go to the federal slammer.

I still think that the worst that might happen to him is that he will have to resign. No one has the guts to go after a prominent black figure--and if they did, Obama can give him a pardon. In fact, the possibility of a pardon would be the carrot Obama can use to ensure that Holder won't spill the beans on Obama himself.

The Obama administration was in campaign mode all the time. They were determined to stop any leaks that might hurt them politically--while outrageously leaking information that made Obama look good even if it hurt national security.

Their pursuit of Rosen probably had less to do with the supposed North Korean story than with getting information about his contacts that might be helpful to them politically or to aid in their war against Fox News.

You don’t lie under oath.

Billy Clinton disproved that in 1999. He got clean away with it.

President Barack Obama has been mocked for learning about untoward conduct in his administration from the press. But he’s on the ball compared with his attorney general

For the morons, it begs the question:

If Obama was "On the ball" why did he ever pick Holder for AG?

Gezzzz..

The Attorney General of The United States does not get away with lying under oath. Maybe all he gets is six months in jail, but he goes to jail.

He'll never go to jail..

Holder said, "With regard to potential prosecution of the press for the disclosure of material, that is not something I’ve ever been involved in, heard of, or would think would be wise policy." Eric Holder had plumb forgot that Eric Holder might have signed off on such a thing. Timing is everything: If only the Washington Post had published earlier!

Possible explanation for the strange happenings affecting Obama Administration especially the Obama/Holder Department of Just Us and Our People.

"It's like there is a strange 'gravity' causing things to happen without our knowledge."

Political scientists puzzled by the strangeness of it all.. suggest the presence of governance dark matter not unlike dark matter that affects the universe.

How did he feel about his actions at Colombia in the 60s, when he read the newspapers?

I lost any respect I might have had for Holder when he knuckled under to Clinton’s pardon of Marc Rich after Mrs. Rich gave Clinton a massive donation (most of which was monetary). Holder executed the pardon, even though it was clearly unethical.

" Eric Holder had a crisis of conscience "

Yah. shure. He realized he didn't have one and there was no suitable replacement.

Anyone wanting on or off this ping list, please advise. Thanks.

Giving “inconsistent statements” under oath got Scooter LIbby a year in the slammer..

I wonder if Holder was upset about that.......naw, actually I don’t wonder at all.

The Attorney General of The United States does not get away with lying under oath. Maybe all he gets is six months in jail, but he goes to jail. He is the chief lawman of our nation. He does some jail time to send a message to everyone. You don’t lie under oath. Failure to punish him sends the message that there is no legal system in this country, and if that’s the case, then it’s the law of the jungle baby, and the big eat the little.

I second that. I'll believe it when I see it, but by all gods I disbelieve in, I second it.

Count me in, too. I will not hold my breath waiting for the clink of the jail door, though....

Stupid Holder was mouthing off to Congress and could not just give yes or no answers and had to be verbose and give lengthy explanations not asked for and in the end because he simply could not STFU he has hung himself.

That’s pretty good but no cigar. The article was on the web.

Holder needs to be fired for simply being an idiot.
