BEIRUT (AP) — Syrian President Bashar Assad said in an interview broadcast Thursday that he is "confident in victory" in his country's civil war, and he warned that Damascus would retaliate in kind to any future Israeli airstrike on his territory.

While I know Damascus will be destroyed and Psalm 83 looks soon to be fulfilled, what is AP’s motivation(or those that give them their talking points)? Hillary has already publically said that Assad(just like Kaddafi) has to go. Is this going to be used to further justify his removal. The best situation for Israel is stalemate with neither Assad or the Muslim Brotherhood running the show. The media and the leftists are no friend of Israel but they would use Israel for their own purposes in a second. Will they actually use this to drone assassinate Assad? Other articles are saying Assad is regaining the upper hand — that is completely unacceptable for the leftist plans to install the Muslim Brotherhood into Syria. Why was McCain talking to the rebels! Are they so impatient that they will create justification for a NATO/drone assassination?
Syria needs to wipe out a few million islamo rebels before they commit suicide. islam needs attrition like a fish needs water.
