And, I as read it elsewhere, you (or, a kalifornian) can't transfer or sell it. I guess it becomes the property of the state, by default.

Thankfully I don’t live in CA. I live in MD, a state trying to be like CA, but not there quite yet.

Transport it out of CA to a state where it is legal. Establish residency in that state. Sell it as you see fit.
