That reminds me. You know it's about time we started pushing back against this completely stupid ban on freon. Like the ban on DDT it was based on "science" that had been completely debunked. Freon is the most energy efficient coolant for air conditioners and we should go back to using it.
I’d be happy with simply lifting the ban on CFCs in inhalers. The more environmentally friendly accelerants in asthma inhalers don’t propel the medication well enough, compared to CFCs, and the amount of CFC used in inhalers is infinitesimal compared to the impact of leaking CFCs from HVAC equipment.
