What still makes you think they won't destroy half or more of this country to get rid of people like us? You put too much faith in government being benign. I'd rather look a hungry bear in the eye than a TSA or IRS or FBI agent, because I won't know when they're going to backstab me. At least with the bear, I know he's hungry now and I should start running right now, as opposed to waiting to see what the government will do.
