We’ll see but ultimately it is most important that witness 8 be contradicted. So they are using Crump to fill in blanks of his interview with witness 8. It doesn’t seem he will say anything that contradicts her story. But we’ll see.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say that she wasn't even talking to him "at a particular time" and that everything she said was a big fat guess based on what she knew.
