I just love Ted Cruz. I suspect he is a huge target for the Dems. Gloria Alred is probably fired up out there looking for anything or anyone that can cast a shadow on Cruz or his family. I pray for this man daily.

It’s always been the goal of socialism to replace God with the state. Getting people to even recognize this is almost impossible, however. The problem is that the danger is not right in front of their faces. It’s off in the future, out of sight and out of mind.
I am gonna have to agree. Reagan never said the Carter administration reminded him of the Soviet Union. What is it with the hyperbole? Cruz should know better. If this guy wants to run for president, he needs to stop saying the kinds of things college kids say for shock value. We are now in the internet age. These statements are recorded for posterity.

I am surprised that people don’t see the direct similarities between Cuba and Obama’s America.
I know some refugees from Cuba, who have been here fore 20 years, and even THEY see the similarities.
Of course it is the same- wake up people.
Subtler methods are not working at all. Harder hitting would seem to be indicated. Also, guess what? It really DOES look more and more like Cuba.
This is a *good* soundbite.
It should also be pointed out that this should attract, not repel, Cubans who fled to the US to escape Castro and became citizens.
