California is in the process of doing the same (defining semi-auto 22s as “assault weapons”, doesn’t even need to have a pistol grip). There is also a bill that bans mere posession of a magazine > 10 rounds.
If these can’t eventually be overturned on the basis of Heller/McDonald, then the 2A is dead because Heller/McDonald would be meaningless.

The next thing we’ll find out is any revolver with two hand grips will be considered an assault rifle.
The game of confiscation has begun. It won’t be long before they start demanding any semi-automatic pistols be turned in.
Don’t trust those a-holes in connecticut’s government.They’re liars.

I want a bayonet mount and flash suppressor on my Ruger 10/22. It’s much more deadly and menacing with that flash suppressor to hide the plume of flame from a .22 round, and I imagine psychopaths are lining up to get bayonet-capable .22s for their crime sprees.

Rock River Arms (I think) announced a .22lr AR 15 styled rifle that was exempt under the CT law... so CT has answered by including the .22lr rimfire cartridge. They probably also included all rimfire calibers.
