Why did they hone in on Verizon??? Or is there more info out there that it is every phone company?
Verizon is the carrier most of the NE liberals use. It brings it more ‘home’ for them than say BellSouth.
Verizon is the largest cellular carrier in the continental US.
Because the reason you can hear people now, is because they own most cell phone towers in the US. The other just rent space on them, typically.
Also, verizon is the largest prepaid cell phone company. Others, like Straight Talk, or Netspend (other large prepaid companies) USE VERIZON TOWERS.
That’s exactly why I use Straight Talk. Same coverage as Verizon, cheaper than Verizon and no contract.

The orders allowing the NSA to access the phone data are secret, the Verizon order is the one that’s been leaked. There could be orders for the other phone companies as well. The Obama administration is probably looking at phone data for all Americans.

It was a secret warrant that was leaked. There are probably other secret warrants for the other companies that have not yet been leaked.

I wouldn't say they honed in on any particular company but that it just happened Verizon's name was leaked first. I'd bet that ALL companies are being mined. Just like the 2 rogue IRS employees have grown to over 500, so will this.
