I saw the English/Americanized version of the movie “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” (a year after reading the book), and while it was very closely tied to the book, at times it seemed to be just an excuse to have Rooney Mara naked on screen.
I haven’t seen the Mara version, only those with the Swedish actress. I think she did an awesome job in that trilogy.
