Though my only evidence is that he’s in Hong Kong, just before his identity is revealed.
Snowden said he chose HK because it still respects individual liberties and freedom of speech.
He also said that "they" will "get" you if they really want to... it's only a matter of time.
Snowden's demeanor and ability to speak clearly and succinctly certainly doesn't indicate that he's an idiot. On the contrary, he seemed so rational that I'm wondering if there's more to the story than just a fed-up Patriot.
Color me skeptical...
