I’m glad he threw it back after taking the pictures. I know he said he threw it back because it wasn’t of legal size, but I’d hope he’d throw it back even if it was of legal size to harvest. Somethings that are rare you should just let live.

Yep, my thoughts exactly. It’s pretty cool that he just figured he’d throw it back. Good reason we protect our fisheries - what remains of them - from the Chinese, Japs, and Russians.

I live in Maine, and lobstermen from time to time catch lobsters that are yellow, white, blue, etc. These rare lobsters are feature stories on TV and other local media.

These unusual lobsters are sent to public aquariums in Portland, ME, Boston or elsewhere.
