Obama will come after him with everything he’s got. The government does like it when its big brother activities are disclosed and will want to send a message to any other potenteial leakers out there.

As shocked as we all are about this high level snooping by the government, we still have to wade through this, and other Obama era scandals, and understand what laws were broken, and by whom. And, who authorized these actions.

Snowden is apparently in legal trouble for disclosing high level secrets. But there is a trail leading somewhere, as to who exactly authorized the collection of all this information on all of our phone and internet records.

Michael Medved permanently lost me over this guy. His undying support of Bush was the first crack. Then his support of Romney from day one. Then his support of strong serveilance after the Boston Bombing almost pushed me over the edge. But his condemnation of this man finally did it for me.

It wasn’t that he condemned him. Rather, it was the case he made to support it. I now realize Medved is part of that whole Rove, McCain et-al republican establishment. I’m done.

It’s sad. He was my favorte talk show host and I love how he skewers libs. I’ll still listen, but I no longer consider him “friend” to conservatives.

The trail ain’t that hard to follow:

Congress sets up a secret court consisting of 14 hack federal court district judges, they rubber stamp a warrant, we’re on our way to a police state.

There’s a lot of that going around the past couple of days. John Bolton comes to mind immediately, and I know there were a half dozen mentioned yesterday. Even most of the bunch on “The Five” seem to have shown their statist side on this issue.

>>Obama will come after him with everything he’s got.

Smell the hypocrisy.

During the 2008 presidential campaign, several candidates, including Barack Obama, pledged to support a strengthening of the ‘Whistleblower Protection Act’ (H.R. 985) if elected president.

“I would remind you that extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice. And let me remind you also that moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue.”

This is exactly why I loathe Hugh Hewitt and Michael Medved, they both seem to be the “Moderation in Pursuit of Justice” types...

I’m to the point where my government scares me more than an occasional terrorist attack.

The Big Government “conservatives” are on parade now. If they condone trashing the constitution of a free people because “under the circumstances, it’s necessary”, then you know that there is no power or right they would not willingly take from citizens and give to Big Brother.

How about this, Medved, Kristol, Grahamnesty, McCainiac, and all you other Big Brother enthusiasts: I have an idea for you. Instead of snooping on citizens, and treating them as terrorist suspects at the airports, how about deporting all the mohammedans? Then there would be no reason to trample on the God-given rights of the citizenry.

Nah, too fundamentally obvious, simple, and effective. Besides, you wouldn’t be able to expand the powers of the leviathan.

The only way those charges will stick is with a noose... and we're going to need a lot of them and lamp-posts.

When the crime is a clear present violation against the people and their 4th amendment rights, then I have no qualms with the breaking the law to expose this.....

No problem whatsoever....

It is like that Sheriff that was arrested for trying to withhold the 2nd amendment...

I have no problem with him going against the state gun laws to try to protect a citizen’s 2nd amendment rights!

Yep. Bolton. Events seem to be separating the wheat from the chaff.

I’m in IT. Medved’s arguments exposed him as one of two things: A complete idiot when it comes to data mining or a liar. And I think he is VERY intelligent and well informed. Which leaves us with the latter.

“Traitor”???

LOL

He’s an invention and a shiny object.

Kind of a sleight of hand...

People! People! Look over there!

No way this guy exists.

Not even qualified for Top Secret.

The clue is his bio.

No high school, college. That right there doesn’t even get your resume on anyone’s desk.

He’s a distraction.
