Right now I can use the old saying, “but it’s a dry heat”, and it will be until shortly after the 4th of July. I don’t like steamy. Hair just goes all frizzy.


Seem to have 108 of them non-frizzy dry heats over here. You are welcome to all you want.

I went outside on the day it hit 122. Didn’t feel any different than 118. I’ve lived here my entire life. It’s either hot, or not-so-hot. When I was a kid, we had a swamp cooler. Nasty hot after July 4th. My grandma (before swamp and air) had to hang wet sheets in the windows or they slept outside. I am noticing that it feels hotter now that I’m not a kid anymore.
