But is he lying about what's going on in the Obama Administration?

I don't know. But if he'll lie about one thing, it is more than likely he'll lie about others.

My assumption is his charges regarding massive data archiving are based upon something more than his word.

“I don’t know. But if he’ll lie about one thing, it is more than likely he’ll lie about others.”

And I guess you’ve never lied about anything... I would guess he has a lot more guts and more honer than you ever did.

Maybe he could be lying about working for/with the NAS as well.

And I suppose you have never lied about anything?

If he has lied about what the government is doing, then why are they calling his actions treason instead of denying the veracity of his claims?

Besides, doesn't he have documents supporting his allegations?

Do you automatically believe everything that any blogger on the Internet spews?

Scooter Libby? Yea, they got him the same way. Problem is
pretty much everything he disclosed is true. The question is,
do and should the American people have the right to know
that their government IS data mining every aspect of their
life (public and private) for any purpose they choose?

Not sure what to make of this guy. Maybe everything he has stated is true, even if some of his own history is a bit off. But I'm wondering if he is actually a spy for the Chicoms. I don't understand why he chose Hong Kong as the place he would run to. HK is part of China (it isn't independent anymore), which is hardly a free and open country. I guess we'll see how this plays out, though.

He did not lie about the fact that the NSA is collecting a massive database on American citizens in violation of the Fourth Amendment. With that big one right, I'm not going to worry about whether he broke "both of his legs while training for Special Forces" is consistent with breaking both of his legs while training to get into Special Forces training or requires that he actually be in special forces training to be true. The subtleties on the timing of his broken leg interest me a whole lot less than the accuracy of his statements about the NSA's gross violation of the Bill of Rights.
