Coulter Goes Ballistic On Hannity Over Immigration: You’re ‘Like A Liberal Making A Silly Argument!’
Media_ite ^ | 6/12/2013 | Josh Feldman

Posted on 06/13/2013 5:25:33 AM PDT by Servant of the Cross

The title of Ann Coulter‘s latest column on the immigration bill in Congress is “If The GOP Is This Stupid, It Deserves To Die”, so she clearly has an issue with how Republicans have handled the immigration debate. She continued slamming the GOP on Sean Hannity‘s show tonight, calling immigration bill supporter Marco Rubio “the Jack Kevorkian of the Republican party,” and insisting that any bill that goes through the House and Senate will be amnesty first, enforcement second. When Hannity asked what Coulter would do with the millions of immigrants currently in the United States, she rolled her eyes, told Hannity it’s not a crisis, and exclaimed, “You are like a liberal making a silly argument!”

Coulter dismissed the so-called triggers to citizenship in the bill as “phony.” Hannity said he spoke to Rubio, who explained that the bill supports temporary legal status until border security is fixed. Coulter insisted that the American people (except for employers who like cheap labor) want enforcement first, and that the government should be enforcing the E-Verify system.

Hannity asked Coulter what she would realistically do with the millions and millions of illegal immigrants in the United States. She dismissed the “total frog and a fig leaf” that Americans literally “can’t sleep at night” because of this crisis. When Hannity interjected to get Coulter to answer , Coulter exasperatedly fired back.

“You are like a liberal making a silly argument! It’s a straw man argument! Nobody cares! This idea that it’s an emergency, it’s a crisis, it’s preposterous!”

Hannity then asked Coulter what would be the next step after 100 percent border security. Coulter said if Congress was really serious about doing that, they would enforce E-Verify and build a fence. She predicted Congress will pass an amnesty bill, which will mean “the country is over” and people will “punish” the Republicans who let it happen. She also pushed back against the idea that Hispanics are natural Republicans, and concluded that if amnesty passes, the GOP will continue losing national elections.

He’s always putting up the good fight—though even he seems to have a blind spot re: the likes of Rubio and Hatch.

Hannity has his snout firmly planted in the vicinity of Rubio’s rump.

Hannity seems convinced this amnesty bill is a good thing.

geesh

Time for Operation Wetback 2.0. I will never buy the false argument that we cannot deport 11 million ILLEGALS. When you define a problem to be too great to be solved - of course you can’t solve it. Politicians do what is easiest - not what is right!

Even when I agree with her, I still don’t care what Coulter has to say.

She's trying to get back into our good graces over last year's swooning over Christie and Romney. Her book sales must be slipping.

As far as I'm concerned, she's Fredo Corleone to Michael Corleone.

I am finding that my Catholic friends and relatives don’t seem to care about this amnesty issue as much as they should - the priests are telling them that “we are all immigrants” and “Look what we did to the Indians.”

She has the ears of millions of listeners and is one of only a few who is speaking out against this travesty. You might not care what she has to say but thank goodness she is saying it.

I generally enthusiastically agree with what she writes, but find her girl-crush on Chris Christie perplexing and troublesome.

The ONLY difference in Republicans and Democrats is the (R) or (D) on the ballot....they vote Big Government, and Big Taxes, and appease their base to get donations for Re-Election.

Pounding Conservatives for staying home because there is no one to vote for is bullshit; it makes no difference who you have on each side of the Ticket; they're all the same.

You fools who think there's an (R) that's Conservative on a National Ballot are as sharp as the DU slugs.

It seems like she, and some others, saw Chris Christie come out swinging like a champ against bloated teachers' unions and government largesse, and assumed he was going to be a poster child of conservatism. I was guilty of this myself. I remember thinking, "wow, I can't wait to see his position on gun rights!"

After some time, I actually looked into his history, and saw his positions on some other issues, and realized he wasn't what I had hoped. I wonder if some people had already publicly come out in favor of him, and they felt it was too embarrassing to walk back.

I don't even live in NJ, but I was sorely disappointed when I realized what he was.

Exactly.

Supposedly, we can track the movements of 330 million citizens through their emails, phone calls, credit card purchases...and watch their movement with video drones.

But we are being told that we can’t do anything with 11 million illegal aliens, like identify them or where they get their income.

Since the illegals are not citizens (and are not entitled to 4th ammendment protection), I suggest that the government demonstrate the effectiveness of the PRISM system by going after the employers of illegals, such that employers will refuse to hire illegals. Then the illegals will go back to their own country by their own will.

Rubio pal'ing around with Juan MeCain & Linda Gramnesty tells me all I need to know about the man.

Just one more T.E.A. Party impersonator.

Sucks up to Conservatives to get elected then has no time for their border security before amnesty pleas.

I listened to Rubios interview too...spun like a top!

the basic problem is many want to find a way to let them stay... hence they bend-over backwards for “solutions”.......I want them out!...When that's the goal...a fence ...E-verify and heavy fines for hiring them, no welfare and they self deport automatically...and those that don't we'll arrest!!!

That's not racist....its common sense!...doesn't make any difference what nationality....illegal is illegal!! ....go thru the proper procedures....screen new applicants for the benefit of the U.S..not to add crooks and thieves and rapists in the name of “diversity”

“Look what we did to the Indians” is one my driving reasons for opposing Amnesty - I don’t want to end up like they did.

I take silence on such a critical issue, and when she’s otherwise commenting on so much, to be consent.

It’s been my one policy difference all along, but I’m afraid this one will be the end of all the issues I agree with her on.

The details don’t matter. That is the MO. Get people to argue over details(security, border agents, a wall...) all the while just keep going pushing the demographic change. I can see it clearly and I know they do, that once they get this immigration bill passed they have achieved their unholy grail of a demographic change that will make all the US blue including Texas. Once this bill passes you will see a rapid decrease in pretenses they have always hid behind — there will be open and government approved persecution of Christians, defense of marriage people, and any and all opposition, it will be openly done. If you want a date as to when America officially died and tyranny reigned it is the date of the passage of this bill.
