That is a very good point. We’ll have to see, especially whoever wins the Friday election in Iran.
If we go into Syria, that will definitely put Putin and Russia in an awkward position.
The thing is, Obama is so gung-ho about Syria, yet he did NOTHING when Khamenei/Ahmadinejad pulled a Tiananmen Square after the rigged election back in 2009 and slaughtered tons of people.
I would think if it looked like the US and the rebels
were fixing to throw Assad out, Hezzbullah would do
it’s best to drag Israel into it.

This is a Wag the Scandal situation. All he wants is death and destruction on the newspapers and web pages. Probably could care less which side wins (Sunni or Shiite).
The people slaughtered were pro-freedom/pro-west.
It was a clear choice to do nothing when hard-core terrorist supporting and funding anti-western civilization islamist radicals were the ones doing the slaughtering.
