CIA preparing to deliver rebels arms through Turkey and Jordan (Is this Hugh and Syria?)

The CIA is preparing to deliver arms to rebel groups in Syria through clandestine bases in Turkey and Jordan that were expanded over the past year in an effort to establish reliable supply routes into the country for nonlethal material, U.S. officials said.

The bases are expected to begin conveying limited shipments of weapons and ammunition within weeks

=======================================================================

Is this Hugh and Syria?

According to news reports, Obama wants to provide plenty of money, arms and political protection to a terrorist group. But enough about the IRS.

The White House on Thursday announced that it now thinks it's a good idea to start shipping arms to 'Syrian rebels', known up until this week as "al-Qaeda", because a "red line" had been crossed. The "red line" being defined as 'another week of scandals dominating the news.'

Obama is spying on all Americans to 'combat terrorists'. Meanwhile, in Syria he wants to arm and train terrorists for combat.

To combat powerful chemical weapons, Obama will ship small arms and ammo only to "vetted" Syrian rebel groups, since the U.S. did such a solid job vetting Tamerlan Tsarnaev. And there's only a teensy chance this weaponry might fall into the wrong hands -- as we learned in Fast and Furious.

The public justification being used for cranking up another war is that there are thoughtful slogans out there on the airwaves like, "93,000 have been killed!!!!!! We have to do something!!!!"

World renown military authority , Gen. William Kristol of the Weekly Standard has also called on the U.S. to jump into this chemical war. Kristol pushed hard for the Iraq war, so what could possibly go wrong?

Out of the alleged 93,000 killed in Syria, 153 were killed by chemical weapons. From this, the White House concludes that (a) the chemical weapons thus far used have been deadlier than the wussy conventional weapons that snuffed out 92,847, (b) Assad killed all 93,000 people and (c) Assad is almost as dangerous as Ted Cruz.

To follow the White House's impeccable moral argument further, no "red line" was breached in killing 92,847 people -- it's the 153 fatalities that justifies getting in the middle of another bloody civil war in the Middle East. The 153 are clearly deader than the 92,847.

Chemical weapons are alleged to have been used as early as August, 2012, or what Jay Carney would consider "a long time ago."

For months, the Obama administration had been debating whether there's "evidence" that chemical weapons were being used by the Syrian government. The White House now considers the "evidence" conclusive, now that the broadcast networks are covering something called the 'NSA scandal.'

Supplying weapons to the "rebels" in Libya gave us Benghazi, where former members of the "rebel movement" in Libya showed their boundless gratitude to America by slaughtering four Americans. In response to this act of kindness, Obama apologized to Muslims for attacking us. His most decisive actions thus far include arresting an obscure film maker and hacking into Sharyl Attkisson's computer.

In Egypt, dumping long-time U.S. ally Hosni Mubarak, on the basis that he was a long-time U.S. ally, while backing the "secular" Muslim Brotherhood produced another Sharia-law-loving Islamic basket case. As a bonus, with Mubarak gone, Christian groups have been the target of Egypt's tolerant new rulers. (Maybe they're a branch of the IRS.)

Looking at what happened in Libya, and looking at what happened in Libya's Benghazi, and looking at what happened in Egypt, Obama concludes we need more such amazing examples of his nifty 'doctrine' of leading from his behind. A brand new NBC/WSJ poll shows 15% of Americans want the U.S. to intervene in Syria. Encouraged by this broad support, Obama lapses again into that leading from his behind default position. If there's anything discernibly 'doctrinal' about Obama's whole foreign policy approach, it essentially amounts to taking all the lessons learned in the Bush years and methodically unlearning them. Any lesson to be gleaned from the BushCo Jesusland 'warmonger' and his Darth Cheney sidekick, unglean it. Bush's Afghanistan light footprint? Ramp up troop levels and double down on failed nation-building. Iraq? After all the blood and treasure expended, snatch ol' defeat from the jaws of victory on the home stretch, including getting the unceremonious boot out the door. Another lesson's don't fight proxy wars. Syria is the mother of all of 'em -- Iran vs. U.S., U.S. vs. Russia, then spice up the quagmire with Arab Sunnis Alawite Shias, Hezbollah, Salafists, Wahhabis, Druze, Kurds, Turks, Christians and so on. And the vital national interest in Syria is? I'd love to hear the answer to that one.

Anyway, that's...
My Two Cents...

That’s just about what I was thinking after the nightly news - only I could never have said it the way you do. Brilliant.

This is not going to end well. Those weapons will be used on Israelis, Christians and our Embassy personnel.

If only the pea-brained American sheeptards could ever awaken from their coma....

this brings us into direct confrontation with Russia ands its surrogate, Iran

sends US arms to a massive terrorist network dominated by al Qaeda or similar ideological islamists, who consider destroying the West priority #2 after they murder or subjugate enough muslims to set up their glorious caliphate and destroy Israel

exposes Turkey and Jordan to increasing destabilization

and all managed by John "Kerry of Arabia" and the idiots at State Department who think muslims who tweet must be democratic revolutionaries

oh and bypasses Congress again in getting advise and consent for inserting American men and American interests into another war designed by obama cronies at CIA

but hey, what could possibly go wrong

The great advantage we have is that moslems spent the past 1,400 years totally botching everything they try.

This endeavor shall be no exception.

Syria is Russia’s client state. Russia will kick the CIA from here to Benghazi you can count on the full military might of
Putin to be deployed in Defence of Assad.

This will not end well. The CIA operatives and their al Queda mercenaries will be swiftly exterminated.

And whose idea was it to send Chris Stevens? Could it have been HILLARY? This action is just to provide retroactive cover for her should she ever be made to testify under oath about the murder of four Americans in Benghazi.

.........................................................
IMO it should read Obama CAUSED the wreck.
Stands there and denies it.
Then tries to further injure the people in the car.

Obama wants Al Qaeda to win.
Obama is directly involved in the coming murders of Christians in Syria.

Shouldn’t the headline be, “CIA admits they have been smuggling arms...”?

Did the Current Occupant of the White Hut even ASK what was happening in Syria? Iran and Saudi Arabia are engaged in a war, using somebody else’s real estate. Various different elements within the Islamic world have chosen sides, and this is a fight between a scorpion and a cobra. There may be even more sides involved than we now suspect or recognize, as both Russia and Turkey seem to have a stake in the outcome, and Israel is the badger crouched in its hole while the wolverine and grizzly bear are getting territorial.

Now people may not know this about a wolverine, but when it has something it wants to keep, they have been known to make a grizzly back up. A wolverine is all ferocity, something the grizzly is not prepared to engage directly, as the wolverine will wade in, even with blows and bites rained upon its back, and proceed to disembowel the grizzly.

Maybe the grizzly will incapacitate the wolverine sufficiently so it is unable or unready to engage another right away, but the grizzly stands to be mortally wounded as a result. Then we have two dying creatures, neither of which will quit the fight until the last breath.

Our best hope at this juncture is to keep the grizzly and wolverine circling each other, maybe for years, while the badger continues to watch warily. As long as they are fighting each other, the badger is relatively safe.

Unsure whether adrenaline and/or testosterone are in our best interests at the moment.

I can assure you, that Putin has decided to defend Assad at all costs. He will put Russian troops there if need be.

Asshat Obama on the other hand...is trying to get back into the game when he’s 40 pts down. All Putin has to do, is show a little might, and Obama will stand down. The first time in the history of our country that an American president will stand down to another country.

But it will happen. Esp when he teligraphs that we’re going to arm these teenager beheading thugs.

If I were Putin, I would target these arm shipments and blast the hell out of them... then one by one dismantle the rebels esp now that Assad has control.

If we were to get into this chess game....we should have done it some time ago... and apparently we were, as the rebels were about to win...

The worst is yet to come folks. Obama is not a fighter... hes a sneak. Drones, surveilance, take down your own people etc. the kind of leader you’d expect from a Stalin or even a Putin. He’s a two bit operator...

Mark my words. Putin will slap him down...and Obama will then have to decide to stand up to the guy or back down. He of course he will back down to the delight of PUtin.

It will then take another leader with backbone, and of course our soldiers to put is back as the world foremost power again. If not, then get ready for the Fall of the Roman Empire part two.

Another 3 to 4 weeks would be the perfect time for Sheriff Joe to demonstrate 0bama is not a Citizen of the USA, but actually a Citizen of a Country fighting in Syria.
