Zimmerman's Dad: Blacks Are the Racists
The Root ^ | June 14, 2013 | Corey Dade

Posted on 06/15/2013 9:43:36 AM PDT by nickcarraway

In his new e-book, Robert Zimmerman Sr. blames black leaders for fanning racial flames.

With his son on trial for murder in the death of Florida teen Trayvon Martin, the father of George Zimmerman has published an e-book criticizing the case and calling some African-American leaders who called for his son's arrest racists. Robert Zimmerman Sr.'s book, Florida v. Zimmerman: Uncovering the Malicious Prosecution of My Son, George, was released on Friday at Amazon.com for $3.99.

Zimmerman writes at length about his background and his family's multiracial identity, seemingly to counter accusations that his son, a 29-year-old neighborhood-watch volunteer, was racially motivated to shoot the unarmed black 17-year-old last year. Zimmerman is white, and his wife is Hispanic.

"In the Zimmerman household, relatives, friends, neighbors and classmates were certainly a diverse, wholly accepted mix." He describes his son's prom date as "a lovely young lady ... They were an attractive couple. No one ever even considered the fact that George was Hispanic and the young lady happened to be black."

Zimmerman devotes a chapter to the racial overtones of the case that promise to further inflame the issue. In the chapter "Who Are the True Racists?" he accuses a number of black leaders and organizations of being racist. He also criticizes the attorneys representing the Martin family as being race-baiting schemers.

He writes that before the shooting, he believed that "generally racism was a thing of the past." But after the national outcry against his son, he says he realized that racism is "flourishing at the insistence of some in the African American Community."

Wow, he must not like his son. Publishing any kind of book before the trial is not helping his son.

It won’t hurt his son. Probably most of the trayvon supporters have never read a book and never will.

The biggest racists are the blacks distinguished white liberal enablers.

90% of the Blacks are a close second.

You don’t know that. And any lawyer worth anything would advise against this. It’s a terrible thing to do to his son. If it was my father, he wouldn’t be expecting a father’s day card. Maybe the father will make more money of he is convicted. Of course, the son has done a lot of stupid things to get himself convicted too.

And some of these same black racists and self-loathing whites fanning the flames of “Justice for Trayvon” are the same ones who were fanning the flames of justice for Crystan Mangum, perpetrator of the Duke Rape Hoax.

I wonder if any in the MSM are pointing that out?

Well that is a pretty stupid blanket statement.
I know where he is coming from and what he is reacting to, but that is just a stupid blanket statement.

You can’t white wash all black people.
Can I say that?

Ring the bell of truth...

If you are any color but white, anything bad that happens to you is because everyone hates your race, therefore they hate you and cause bad things to happen to you. However, if you are white and something bad happens to you, you deserve it because you are white and you hate every other race.

I am white and have blond hair - English ancestors on both sides. I am a detestable white. It is not my fault I was born white - I am so depressed - not. :o)

Of course, the son has done a lot of stupid things to get himself convicted too.

Would you care to expound on this? Can you specifically list this "lot of stupid things"?

This trail has huge ramifications along racial lines, 2nd amendment lines and on the very core of jurisprudence.

The law is supposed to be blind and impartial.

This pussy footing around with racial crap in the Zimmerman trial and the Nidal Hassan trial is tearing our country and legal system apart.

Let’s wait until we see the jury before either of us draw conclusions, eh?

Yeah but that is how people are silenced.
This man is not on trail and his opinions do not reflect on the defendant.

NAACP may pass resolution condemning tea party racism
http://hotair.com/archives/2010/07/12/naacp-may-pass-resolution-condemning-tea-party-racism/

From article: The resolution, scheduled for a vote as early as Tuesday by delegates attending the annual NAACP convention in Kansas City, calls upon “all people of good will to repudiate the racism of the Tea Parties, and to stand in opposition to its drive to push our country back to the pre-civil rights era.”

here is a group that gives money and advocates for taxpayer money for only people of one particular race and they claim that tea parties want to return to pre-civil rights days.

Well, exhibit A-1 would be given at least 1 interview to the media, against his and any other lawyers advice. That’s a 10 on the scale of stupidity. There’s a reason why we have the right to remain silent. And he also did a bunch of things against his lawyers advice. When you are facing the charges he is, you just don’t do that. Sorry, white, black, whatever, it’s just a stupid idea. I don’t like lawyers as much as the next person, but when you are on trial for murder, you get the best one you can afford, and you do what they say. Zimmerman made a lot of unforced errors.
