Zimmermann absolutely did a lot of stupid things. Giving an interview against the advice of his lawyer. Doing a lot of things against the advice of his attorney. To say anything else is folly. If I am ever on the hook and do something like that, feel free to call me stupid. Should I not say that?

I don't think they were 'stupid' things. Besides, I don't think it is possible for you to put yourself in his 'shoes'. We all bravely spout from the comfort of our easy chairs what WE WOULD HAVE DONE.

Being in the 'hot seat' is another matter.

It's just a SHAME that our Justice System is so CORRUPT that telling the truth leads to injustice and imprisonment.
