I worked at Valley Presbyterian Hospital for a couple of years and could not believe what happened to that whole area when I went over to where the May Co. and Robinsons dept. stores used to be in Panorama City. BIG difference from 1965!
I remember May Co and Robinson’s May, those were the days..My cousins live in Simi Valley..once named one of the safest cities in America..once that was announced a lot of the garbage moved in now its not so safe anymore..depends where in Simi but some of the areas are mainly Mexican now..the high schools have become meth central, its a shame..Reagan loved that city, built his Library there, don’t know if he would recognize it anymore
I bet in 1965 Panorama City was nicer, now not so, same goes for Van Nuys, Pacoima, North Hills and North Hollywood..all you hear about is the gang activity going on
