So, those of you who have seen and heard more from Dr. Carson, what do you think?
I see a man who wants to have a serious discussion and reflect on what kind of society we are and where we really want to go.

His comments on marriage were positively refreshing, and they sent the left into a complete meltdown. haha. NAMBLA and the homosexuals. Two peas in a pod.

I think he’s a fine role model and leader and should take up speaking out on leaving the plantation.

I am amazed at his accomplishments in the field of medicine. I am reading his book, “Healing Hands”. An incredibly talented man. The kinds if skills and endurance you need to be on your feet at the top of your game (one of his surgeries lasted 22 hours)can take its toll even on the mot fit.
I will be attending a speaking engagement in October with him as the speaker. The host is the Coventry Christian school. He also is the founder of the Carson Scholars Fund.
I don’t know whether he will take on politics but I am eager to hear him speak on any topic. Exceptionally brilliant and humble man.

THERE IS NO PLACE IN THIS SOCIETY FOR COMMON SENSE..common sense is from a higher power and they don’t believe there is a higher power..THEY are the HIGHER power

I don't know how old he is, but at MY age of a young 65 ... /8^) ... I'm retired from truck driving because the depth perception isn't what it was and a few other things, so perhaps Dr. Carson is using his enveloping age as a reason and cause to be more vocal and more exposed.
He certainly knows himself because he states he was already a popular speaker.
There is a refreshing innocence-like quality to Dr. Carson's demeanor.

Thanks for the input. I’ll be looking for more of his works. From the little I’ve seen, he’s someone who does make sense and is worth listening to.

That's a good thing. Better a moderate teacher than a moderate politician. Besides I don't think he has the fight in him for politics.
I'd like to see him take up running the Ben Carson school of science and medicine in Detroit. If he's interested in politics he could probably win the mayoral race in Detroit on name recognition alone.

Hope and pray he is part of the (real) Conservative insurgency - with Ted Cruz, Col. West, Rand Paul, Sarah Palin, and a host of others.
Maybe they cobble together a coalition to take down this insipid Republican Machine....

I watched about a week ago. Twice. Cuba Gooding played Dr Carson. I cried several times.

A breath of fresh air... but he better watch his back, Chris Matthews won’t have a thrill running up his leg, but rather shrill thoughts running through his head...

He's not. He's already spoken out about the need for gun restrictions. That's not to say that he isn't a fine man and worthy of great respect, he's just not a conservative firebrand.

Ironically, it was Paul in 1 Cor 6 that stated that the “least among you” is fit to judge disputes between brothers,
referring to the innate, God given, common sense, law of God, sense of right and wrong.
And, like you said, the left, being humanist and therefore inherently elitist, reject the idea of God-given sense of right and wrong.
“I will write My Law on their hearts.”
