I knew of one Skipper.

Sharp guy, always tactical, instructed more than his fair share of grunts throughout the Corps, dedicated grunt,....cleaning his Colt Commander at the office, letting the slide go home and POP... in an office of about 15 other senior field grades. He had to report directly to the bird Colonel and was pretty sheepish for about a month after that.

Isn't it difficult to clean the barrel without noticing a round in the chamber?

Or are they just waxing the rocket on the outside?
