If Obama shot down a loaded public commercial airliner with many others aboard just to get to one man, there would be absolute holy hell to pay for it, believe me, mark my words. Worldwide.

We,my wife and I, were on our way to China via KAL008. When we arrived in Japan and heard about KAL007 we were dumbfounded wondering why our flight got by. It was later that we learned that KAL007 been over Soviet territory. However we still wandered about what might have been.
