There are three coal-powered power plants in our county. It will put a lot of people out of work if he closes those plants. A lot of those jobs will be coal miners.
...and I sure hope this isn’t the last word on the subject. I just keep asking myself how much more the American people are going to endure until we find ourselves outnumbered out gunned broke and controlled.

He has already closed bunches of power plants in my state. Just consider the economic damage of taking off line a completely good asset such as an electric generating station replacing it with one with less pollution controls in India or China. And for what? Economic insanity!!!

Welcome to my world, I live in California. Summer heat here reaches 114 so there is no way we can live without air conditioning. We have done everything we can to keep our electric costs down. Years ago we installed 2 Master Cool Swamp coolers and run those most of the time. We put in a clothes line and don’t use the clothes dryer. We sit in the dark except for 1 curly cue light bulb and the tv. Our bill is still almost $500. If we ran our air it would be at least %700.
Please allow me to correct your post. The candle will not be in your hand it will be securely pushed up your anus.
