Today, June 26th, is DAY #13 (of 3rd week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case. An explosive second day of deconstructed witness testimony took place yesterday. Which leads to the “big question”:
Will witness #8, Rachel Jeantel, be called to the stand today?
[Yesterday could] … only be characterized as an utter debacle for the prosecution in Florida v. Zimmerman. Besides the testimony of a couple of highly professional law enforcement witnesses, the testimony of the the other State witnesses ranged from signing George Zimmerman’s praises, to acknowledging the utility of following a suspicious person from a distance, to being utterly discredited by razor sharp cross-examination of the defense.

It does not look like chow in any way shape or form has made it past this snack bar’s pie hole.
To be honest, I doubt she even knows Obama is president. I have deposed a lot of stupid witnesses over the years. I have never met anyone as stupid as this in a courtroom or a deposition. She is not retarded, she is deliberately ignorant.
The funny thing is, that she is completely out of control at this point. I think the prosecution overplayed their hand bringing her in. Her testimony is not only worthless to the prosecution, but it is so distracting to their case that the jury will not remember the other witnesses who testified today.
The jurors are going to be sorely tempted to talk about what a terrible witness she was. They are probably chomping at the bit to get into the jury room where they can spend half a day joking about it.
Different dialect. Her specialty was "Jive," if I recall correctly...

After the first 20 minutes of cross I told Mrs. Chandler that he should keep picking at her for two days. She is a powder keg and who knows: the worst may be yet to come.
Wish she was asked what “rush” means Were the martins rushing her? Pressure? Putting words in her mouth.

Rachel was explaining her answers in the 'depo' (deposition) regarding whose voice she heard yelling for 'help' over the phone.
She went on about how she told them it was Trayvon, how she 'thought' it COULD be Trayvon, because he had this 'high' voice he SOMETIMES used, and then... at the end she said something to the effect of "but it's not."
I don’t think this mindless twit has caught on yet that every one of her words are being recorded — even the ones that she mumbles under her breath that she thinks she can deny at a later time.
And the “I didn’t care about that interview” just ain’t gonna cut it in court — court nails or not.

saying ‘her voice was so low,’ or ‘she is very soft-spoken’
so the court had trouble blah, blah. Hilarious. So glad I got to see some of it live. I.Q.. what, 55-60? Does she go
by DeeDee because she cannot pronounce Rachel? LOLOL!
All the newspapers and online sources are only presenting what they think is damaging to the defense—nothing about impeaching the witness.
They are only beginning the process of impeaching the witness. Wait till the 2 hour session tomorrow. Replaying tapes. Showing video Reading transcripts. Good TV.

I'm thinking for tomorrow, for S&G, I may use closed captions to help translate.
