“I have received numerous emails and calls from conservatives and tea party activists,” he said at the beginning of his remarks.

“To hear the worry, anxiety, and growing anger in the voices of so many people who helped me get elected to the Senate, who I agree with on virtually every other issue, has been a real trial for me,”

“has been a real trial for me,”

NO, but I hope he amd many others get their REAL trial someday. He’s doing all this whining now and talking about securing our borders but this bill does not secure our borders and the corker amendment doesn’t fix it either. AND rubio ha nothing to say about all the pork crap being loaded into this bill, the monies for Las Vegas, the monies for scooters, bikes and cars another 1.6 billoion put in as a ransom to secure the vote of the Vermont communist, as if he wouldn’t vote for it any way. May they rot in hell, senator wicker too, he has to know this won’t secure the borders, he’s not stupid, he just thinks we’re stupid.

And it's a real trial to common citizens who rightly feel betrayed by a cabal of political elites bargaining our national sovereignty away. In 2010, YOU said border security MUST COME FIRST. So, what does the dark side have on you, Marco... an offer you couldn't refuse? A pork package for Florida? Hi-res pics of you in a compromising positon with a goat?

He came across as a Latino John McConnell.

John McConnell. Is he a cross between John Cornyn and Mitch McConnell? SuperRINO?

I have not trusted Rubio for awhile now. I remember thinking that he was going to be a great conservative for the Repubs. Then a few years ago (no more than 2) I saw him on TV along with the governor of Puerto Rico. Rubio said the man was a close personal friend. I can’t remember now what it was but some of the statements Rubio made during that interview raised some big concerns in my mind. He was already sounding like he was fudging on several important issues. Time has proven me right, sadly.

I pray he’s toast (I mean that politically, stupid NSA dipshots).

You might want to include the 'stupid FBI dipshots' too... I fear they target with their trolls as much or more than the IRS and NSA...

"I cannot forgive Rubio for looking me in the eye and lying." This is worth repeating! It is not a disagreement on an issue, he is lying that this is not just a repeat of 1986. I would really like to know what McCain and Graham told him to get him to be the front man on this Democrat piece of legislation.

Best thing Rubio can do is come out, admit he didn’t read the bill and now that he read it is appalled by what is in it and will not vote for the POS.

He still won’t get my support, but at least a few others might also jump ship.

9 the President, who have expertise in migration,
10 local crime indices, civil and human rights,
11 community relations, cross-border trade and
12 commerce, quality of life indicators, or other
13 pertinent experience, of whom—

There were a lot of little clues like that about Rubio early on. Little incidents like his stuttering reply over Brewer and the AZ law, or a repeated cold-shoulder given towards tea-party events, or the cozying up to McCain. There was even one curious incident where he didn’t stick around and stand on stage with Palin after appearing at some FL event. A lot of little isolated things, each of which could be individually dismissed as happenstance or an upset tummy or whatever... but after a while they really started adding up.

Even though he still had a cheering squad, I was pretty convinced he was a two-faced hack politician. But wow, it is amazing, the sheer level of blatant, duplicitous LYING he’s been doing, selling Obama/Schumer’s amnesty agenda. I have nothing but total contempt for him.

I have called ALL of Rubio’s offices here in Florida for three days and all VM boxes are full and no one answers.

Primary is in store for him.

Sounds like a mini-Obama. I, I, I. Me, me, me.

My thoughts exactly. Rubio is also like the kenyan in that he is an exceptionally good liar. He is a dangerous man.

Here’s the thing, voting for Republicans gets you to the same result as voting for Democrats. What’s the point?
