I need some help to understand this.
The immigration bill provides some kind of path to citizenship (I admit I have not read the bill).
Are these illegal alien squatters already citizens of some other country? They already have citizenship, right?
When they get USA citizenship, do they have to somehow renounce their original homeland? Do they automatically get dual-citizenship? Will they be able to freely cross the border (in the case of Mexico as an example) and vote in both countries? Pay taxes to both? Receive benefits from both?
What if they don’t want USA citizenship? Do they just pretend to not “learn English” and continue to receive benefits?
I am so confused.

“walls aren’t the solution?”

Keeping illegals out is the problem...the wall is the solution...

Don’t the effin’ Mexicans know: “Fences make good neighbors?”

Personally, I think minefields and concertina wire obstacles make even better neighbors, but most folks think that goes too far...

Mexico breaks silence? When did they ever stop telling the U.S. what laws we should have? I heard their previous p.o.s. president say that the borders of Mexico extend to wherever there are Mexican people. The Mexican congress gave him a standing ovation for saying that. Unf*%$#@g believable!

The solution sure isn’t amnesty for millions of Mexican citizens here illegally. Bring pressure on Mexico to reform their incredibly corrupt (even more corrupt than ours) political system.

Walls aren't the complete solution, but with them and strong enough punishment for the illegal act the problem fixes itself

"Mexico breaks silence on US immigration bill: 'Walls aren't the solution'...."

.... Yup ..... Allowing everybody south of the border into the United States with minimal repercussions so that they can work and send 100's of billions of dollars back to Mexico every year is OBVIOUSLY the only logical solution to the Immigration debate. I don't understand why Americans just don't understand and see this wise logical answer to all of our problems.

Ay Carumba.... Americanos be such stoopid loco gringos.

Mexico has been promoting the illegal exodus of its citizens to the US for years. They should be punished with trade bans and restrictions but instead we put in incentives to promote US companies to do business down there. The Mexican government even prints pamphlets, maps and directions on how to get into the US.

Walls at the mexcriment/US BORDER aren’t the answer. They are right. What is the answer is a vast expansion of US territory to our south. If Mexico complains respond in 40mm,20mm,5.56,and 7.62.

'Walls aren't the solution'

But walls ARE about 90% of the solution!
