Hey, if the best the opposition can do is run out the clock (and then disrupt the proceedings when that fails), then reset the clock and take the actual vote.

This time, lock the chambers down. Sequester the joint. No one in or out except legislators and the DPS. Keep it that way until the bill is voted on.

Perry:“We will not allow the breakdown of decorum and decency to prevent us from doing what the people of this state hired us to do.”

You don't hear that kind of talk very often from elected officials these days. God bless Governor Perry.

He should be pissed at Dewhurst for allowing the legislative process to get punk’d to begin with. Oh well, reset time. The DPS needs to be busting liberal burnt orange heads out on the front lawn while these legislative critters settle the bill.

Not me. Either Sarah or Ted Cruz.

That way, I don't have to deal with another President willing to grant Amnesty, and poor old Perry would like to do just that.

Texas Governor Rick Perry will address the opening general session of the 43rd annual National Right to Life Convention in Dallas on Thursday.

The convention is an event where thousands of pro-life advocates come together to hear top pro-life speakers on a variety of abortion, bioethics and end of life issues.

Can you imagine the disaster if Dewhurst had beat out Cruz in the primary?
