Nancy Pelosi: Hillary Clinton ‘would win’ in 2016 By: Tal Kopan June 28, 2013 06:13 AM EDT
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, one of Hillary Clinton’s biggest cheerleaders, says if Clinton were to run for president in 2016, she’d win and be the best-prepared president “in decades.”
The California Democrat in an interview with USA Today said that she believes the party is coalescing behind Clinton, and there’s a “great deal of excitement” about the prospect of her candidacy in 2016.
“When she, if Hillary Clinton, Secretary Clinton were to run, and we think if she ran, she would win, I believe she’d be the best-prepared person to enter the White House in decades, in decades, with all due respect to her husband, present company and other presidents,” Pelosi said, ticking off Clinton’s résuméas first lady, senator and secretary of state. “So to be commander in chief, she’s well prepared. … She’s just great.”
Pelosi said she hopes Clinton will run, but she stopped short of endorsing her just yet.
“I’m not making endorsements right now, because I don’t think that’s appropriate, but I am gauging … I’m encouraging people to think about it, so in case she asks us, we have something to say to her, and we’d probably say it to her before we’d say it to a national audience,” Pelosi said.
The first female House majority leader was bullish on a Clinton 2016 campaign.
“I don’t know why she wouldn’t run: She’s prepared, she’s well-known, she’s highly respected, she knows she would be able to do the job so very, very well,” Pelosi said.

Pelosi is assuming "The One" will give up his throne.
Unless there is some sort of shift in the electorate, I would have to agree. If the majority are satisfied with a failed European welfare state, that’s what we’ll get. That’s what happened in 2012.

Yes should will win the Presidency if she runs. The Republican Party will fall all over itself trying to get a Democrat Lite candidate that they think they can sell to the media. Of course the media will pimp for Clinton and do everything they can to destroy the Republican candidate.

If the GOP were smart (something I haven't witnesses in a long time) they would start now inspecting voting procedures, voting machines, how the votes are counted and how the polls are staffed. And if this is how the GOP reacts to her candidacy, then I will not be voting for them and may even vote for the Hilderbeast. At least with her I know what I'm getting and it's my way of saying that the U.S. that I knew is gone and it's time to pull the plug. I will not vote for a Rubio or another McCain who believes we need to pander to brown people so they'll like us. I'm tired of 0bama and progressives calling the newest "emergency" that we have to fix immediately and the Repugs saying "Me too...only not as much." . This week it's immigration, last week gay marriage, the week before government wiretapping. I've had enough. The progressive-lite GOP can go hang for all I care at this point </rant>
