I am a winter near-Tarpon Springs-guy and try to spend most of my FL-time on the Gulf, not on dry land. As near as I can determine, I am the only Tarpon Springs guy who has ever even been to Sanford!
Problem is, they also tend to be outnumbered by liberals who fouled their former nests, and are intent on fouling their new nest.
I have anecdotal evidence of that, for sure. We have the same problem in Maine with MA people, to whom we affectionately refer as "Massholes." However, I am happy to report my impression is that the imported liberal problem in FL, including multi-state voting fraud, is far more severe on the Atlantic side, especially as you draw near Miami. The westerners seem to be more conservative, and well-armed, too.
Well then, if you’re a friend of DO’s, then you can’t be all bad. But when you’re talking about native Floridians, smile when you say that. ;~)
