Day 16 (Week #4) Zimmerman Trial – Witness Discussion Thread
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | July 1, 2013 | Sundance

Today, July 1st, is DAY #16 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.

Last week the prosecution feebly presented the first series of witnesses against George Zimmerman. However, as most observers would note, the witnesses called by the state have so far been more beneficial for the Zimmerman Self-Defense position.

Yeah...that’s wrong...at least for normal definitions of recording.

Coding (which happens right in your phone), decoding (on the recipients’ phone), data compression (on your phone, but may also be elsewhere too), buffering while accumulating enough to load the packet (on your phone), buffering as part of data queueing at each hop - all of these introduce delay, and would not normally be considered recording as that information is gone within milliseconds of being dumped...unless someone set the system to duplicate the bits, which requires no time and does not slow down the transmission at all.

The only time that I am aware of that it is illegal for ANYONE to lie is when they are under oath.

Unfortunately, that is not true. If you lie to a federal officer during an interview, even when you are not under oath, you can go to jail. Just ask Martha Stewart and Scooter Libby.

Yes, I understand. They just come off as slightly unhinged! My question is: doesn’t the defense supply the court with their list of witnesses? Can the prosecution usurp that and call defenses’ witnesses?

I just don’t get what is really happening as there is so much fog surrounding this race baiting nonsense!

Put it back in when threat was stopped. BDLR got the lady cop to say something not neccesarily accurate in all cases.

I thought Zimmerman’s gun jammed with the casing not fully ejecting. I wouldn’t be able to holster my gun if that happened to me without clearing the jam.

You’re not addressing my comment.

I didn’t say that recording causes delay; only that to create a delay that exceeds transmission time requires a recording of the data.

I think the only reason there is a trial is due to 3 people. Sharp/Jackson and Obama. IF they hadn’t made this into a racial issue there would be no trial.

that was the point of the questioning..WHEN did he feel the threat was stopped..

You said, “To create delay greater than the transmission distance divided by light speed requires recording somewhere.”

I said that is not true. That is because it’s not true. You can record a signal without slowing it down. Well, before I get into any potential quantum physics fallacies, let me be more precise in my language:

You can not slow it down enough to be perceptible by human beings.

Wouldn’t that be rather dangerous (to not holster it) though? Bernie’s got nuthin!

“no further quests, your honor. you’ve been a lovely, lovely witness.

smart too, huh?”

all Baldo has left is to say “The State would like to drop all charges”.

the Zimmerman trial is My Cousin Vinny-the sequel.

The only time that I am aware of that it is illegal for ANYONE to lie is when they are under oath.

Lying to any cop will be construed as obstruction of justice (of one kind or another). They love that one.

Serino. I have an odd feeling about this guy. I will wait until I hear his testimony.

I see money and Federal government connections written all over him.
