I know to turn into my neighborhood because of the big sign on the main road, which name I do know. I then know to take the second left (my street) and follow it around to my house.
In between I pass 3 cul de sacs, none of which I could tell you the name, and I've lived here 10 years.
One of those lessons of life...We do not absorb unnecessary information....which is why we make such lousy witnesses.
