CNN can at least send Anderson Cooper back over to Cairo.

Or is he too busy covering the Paula Deen story?

Media bias is a form of mendacity, which is the single most dangerous threat in the world today--a world that has never been more dangerous.

A truthfully informed electorate is essential to representative government. A misinformed or disinformed electorate--or population--is extremely dangerous.

The Information Age brings great benefits and great promises, but it has a dark side: The possibilities of propaganda, disinformation, and misinformation have never been greater. Media bias, whether of good or bad intentions, is part of the dark side of the Information Age.

Benevolent people must demand scrupulous truth from the media. That is our best protection in an increasingly dangerous world.

I’d be willing to agree that it could lead to someone worse.

But apparently the uprising is against the fascistic imposition of sharia law, as supported by our dear leader. It could lead to military intervention, which isn’t good for sharia. It could send a message to places like Turkey that secular rule is what the people want. 17 million people, if the reports are to be believed, send a pretty resounding message against theocracy.

I can hope, can’t I?

The mnere fact that more than a couple of million can take to the streets and there is NOT a bloodbath, is a good sign.

I hope the folks can overthrow the MB. It would be a sign that SOMEONE in the middle east has a brain.

"Why don't they simply report it and give him credit for it?"

Uh, ValJar hasn't told them to yet?

Bingo!! Seventeen million in the streets, all Muslim men and not a woman to be found, five’ll get ya ten.

To us “infidels” Morsi is a MB fanatic but to the demonstrators he is an Obama stooge.

Who just said that when we refer to the `Muslim world’, we are acknowledging the Caliphate?

The turban wearing al-Zawalhiri beardo wannabes in Cairo are jockeying for power this very second.

In a parliamentary style gov’t, they could call for a new election tomorrow.

The LSM don’t want to highlight 0bama’s mess in Egypt.

Or anywhere else.

Even if it’s only one million angry protesters, things are going to get ugly. I read that the US has 200 Marines ready to go on a moment’s notice to protect the embassy. I would not want to be those 200 guys.
