BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: I want to go to the audio sound bites, 'cause this was fascinating. On C-SPAN's Washington Journal show today, the guest was the NPR correspondent Julie Rovner, and they had the viewer call-in segment, and they had a caller named Don from Cambridge, Nebraska. The caller knows more about how the regime is using the exchanges than anybody at C-SPAN or NPR.

We have two sound bites, and here's the first one. This is the caller, Don from Cambridge, Nebraska.

DON: I was just kind of curious about this health care deal. If it's such a good thing, why are you guys trying to push it through my children's school to come home and tell me that it's such a good plan? I don't believe in it. Matter of fact, I just got a hold of my good buddy Rush Limbaugh the other day. He's got a bumper sticker coming that says, "Abolish Obamacare." You know, I'm gonna fight it tooth and nail. Like I said, the thing that gets me is when you're pushing it on my children to come home and talk to me about it. What a sad deal. What a sad deal.

RUSH: Now, what he's talking about is Covered California, which is another Democrat group. It's like the SEIU, the AFL-CIO, the NAALCP. Covered California is another group which is using the schools to proselytize for Obamacare via the exchanges. Exchange money is going to a group called Covered California in addition to the others. They are working on students in schools, and the caller is exactly right.

We mentioned this last week. Students are being sold on Obamacare, propagandized, and they are to go home and tell their parents how wonderful it is. So this guy is calling C-SPAN to tell them about it. You just heard his call. Now, here is the reaction. We've got here, after this guy called, one of the guest hosts is a guy named John McArdle, a C-SPAN guest host. He said to the caller, "Don, Julie Rovner is a reporter with National Public Radio reports on these issues for NPR. But Julie, have you heard about an effort to push it through schools?"

ROVNER: I have not heard about an effort to push it through schools. That's something new to me.

MCARDLE: Don, you're saying it's something the teachers are talking about to -- to your child?

DON: What are they doing out in California? What are they doing out in California? They're spending all this money going in the kids' schools, telling 'em to go home, tell mommy and daddy. Yeah.

MCARDLE: Not something you've heard about, though?

ROVNER: That's not something I've heard about.

RUSH: That's the NPR reporterette Julie Rovner, never heard about it. What it is Cover California? And, folks, it's another illustration of two things. You listen here, and you're on the cutting edge of societal evolution. Number two: We do the job that the mainstream media used to do. They have zip, zero, nada curiosity. You know, I heard these sound bites today, and I think it's entirely likely that nobody in the Drive-By Media yet understands how these exchanges have been corrupted.

They probably believe the exchange is set up, there's a website, maybe a brick-and-mortar store where you go in and you buy your insurance policy if you don't have it at work. And I'll bet they haven't the slightest idea that what these exchanges really are is simply front groups for the Democrat Party. And when they do find out, they won't care. They'll think it's a brilliant move. But as it is, the C-SPAN caller knew more about the exchanges than a reporter on this.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: From our story last week, folks: Covered California is California's health insurance exchange. That's what they're calling the exchange. "Covered California, the state’s health insurance exchange, announced grants of $37 million on May 14 to promote the nationally unpopular law. LAUSD will receive $990,000. The district listed as a primary outcome for its project, 'Teens trained to be messengers to family members.'"

That's what the caller was talking about.

It's what he had heard us discuss last week: "Teens trained to be messengers to family members." In schools, they're gonna be propagandized on Obamacare and go home and tell their parents how great it is, and the NPR babe had never heard of it. The Los Angeles Unified School District "will also use tax-paid staff to promote Obamacare through phone calls to students’ homes, in-class presentations, and meetings with employees eligible for Obamacare's taxpayer-covered healthcare, the grant award says."

Now, why? It's the law of the land. Where do they need to go out and propagandize it? People have no choice. What's the point? Stop and think about that.

It's amazing how many people have no clue about what Hussein is doing to this country.

Yes that is the question.

The answer is that they have to get lots of low income people on the program and addicted to the new welfare benefit so that there will be sufficient political base to prevent repeal of the program.

The Democrats fear the next election will dump enough Democrats from the Senate and House to make repeal of Obama Care a possibility. There only hope if that happens is to have the program deeply embedded in the lower income strata where it actually makes a little economic sense to be in the system.

Someday schools will teach about the consequences of Socialism - instead of promoting it.

It seems as though the community organizers in NC are afraid of losing ground on that very issue. A bunch of astroturfers have been protesting at the State House over cutting back unemployment benefits to the very long-termed unemployed. No matter what the issue, this may be the future in every state capital.

I’m guessing that these wonderful exchanges are full of former ACORN SCUM..

Good news: The Democrats will likely be folding up the ACORN and renamed ACORN groups.

Bad news: The reason the Democrats don't need their ACORN organization is because we now have a ACORN wing in the Republican Party. Rubio & Traitors are doing their best to import 20+ million new Democrat voters, the Democrat ACORN folks never even dreamed of such numbers.
