M2-AP is Not defined as armor piercing as it is of composite construction. It has a lead nosed core, so it didn’t fit their legal definition. And yes, you can still buy it.

I have not seem M2 blacktip offerred for sale (other than singly as a collector’s item) in at least 5 years. Did CMP recently get some in from overseas?
